bazooka
The San Francisco Bay Area (including Oakland, Berkeley, and San Jose) has a heavy roster. Of course, it was a great place for musical exploration back in the 60s San Francisco Sound psychedelic days and lots of musicians who started in other places have chosen the area as their home base. These groups either got going or had their intial sucess here.
