If he was smarter, or if he just didn't surround himself with people like Rumsfeld and Cheney who could take advantage of him, I think he would have been an alright president. With all due respect, had W been smarter, he would not have surrounded himself with people like Rumsfeld and Cheney who could take advantage of him.
