Mike Posted September 23, 2008 Report Share Posted September 23, 2008 Ok, besides having the "grooviest" theme song ever. The show was/is funny. Corny, yes! But I was just watching one of the disks last week, and I still have the song stuck in my head. But my point of this post is to say that the actor Fred Gwynne made this show great. What an incredible actor. His facial expressions, his mannerisms, his child-like behavior. Does anyone else share any similar affection for the character of Herman Munster? I remember getting all excited when a Munsters movie came out, and most off the original cast made a cameo appearance. The theme song was really catchy, it's stuck in my mind now...
