|| kaos kid ||
i was wondering, i need a new song for my blog (www.xanga.com/kaos_asylum), and i would like it to have a teen pregnancy meaning. the song i have up now in no way foreshadows any plans i have, or things i have done [brick by ben folds five, its about abortion], i really just like the melody. Brian
OK if you know "There goes my life" by Kenny Chesney, you probably know 'Backseat of a Greyhound Bus' by Sara Evans. ?? I'll try to think of more. Right now it is too late in the evening to come up with more suggestions.

Brian
Kenny Chesney is Country or did you not know?? Did you even bother to follow the links and listen the song "Me and Emily" It may or may not 'fit' but at least take the time to listen to the lyrics before you say 'YUCK'! ::
Jenny
I can think of two off the top of my head: Papa Don't Preach - Madonna (teen pregnancy) and What Would You Do? - City High (teenage mom) Both are pop, but try them out, they may help

XXX
"This Night Has Opened My Eyes" by The Smiths In a river the color of lead Immerse the baby's head Wrap her up in the news of the world Dump her on a doorstep, Girl This night has opened my eyes And I will never sleep again You kicked and cried like a bullied child A grown man of 25, Oh, he said he'd cure your ills But he didn't and he never will Oh, save your life Because you've only got one The dream has gone but the baby is real Oh, you did a good thing She could have been a poet or she could have been a fool Oh, you did a bad thing And I'm not happy and I'm not sad A shoeless child on a swing Reminds you of your own again She took away your troubles Oh, but then again she left pain Oh, please save your life Because you've only got one The dream has gone but the baby is real Oh, you did a good thing She could have been a poet or she could have been a fool Oh, you did a bad thing And I'm not happy and I'm not sad
