MuzikTyme Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 "Uncle Tom's Cabin" - Warrant Gotta love that ole swamp-Louisianian style of an intro followed by what sounds suspiciously to me like an alien banjo that tinkles and twangs just right and then, all of a sudden . . . All hell breaks loose, shingles fly off roofs with some of the best rock-n-roll I've heard in a long time. That ole Luke . . . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Novocaine for the Soul ~ Eels
MuzikTyme Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Mad About You ~ Slaughter get through the erratic but brief intro and you're in like Flint!
miamisammy29 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 "Killer Queen" - Queen ...and now..."Blue On Black" - Kenny Wayne Shepherd
Crazy Don Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues--Elton John
MuzikTyme Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 What gets me about the following song is it's a great example of when money and fame collide. These guys are good but don't let the video fool you. It's best just to listen to it with eyes closed. And here they are Tainted Angel ~ Southgang
miamisammy29 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 "I Can't Tell You Why" - Eagles ...and now..."Love Her Madly" - Doors
MuzikTyme Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 I like how sammy listens to two songs at one time. My guess is he hears Tim Schmit in one ear and Jim Morrison in the other. The Tim and Jim biscuit flour hour! The blend intrigues me. "I can't tell you why you love her madly." It could work.
