Viaene
I've seen 'The Blues Brothers' and 'The Blues Brothers 2000' recently, and I simply love them! So I'm wondering if there are more great movies with a lot of music (preferably Blues, rock'n roll, rock,...) in it.

Otokichi
Some movies aren't about music, but have music in them. "Corrina, Corrina" "Stand By Me" "Garden State" "Mr. Holland's Opus" "Stealing Home" "Tin Cup"

Farin
"The Blues Brothers" is far superior to the "2000" sequel, imho some other examples: School of Rock and maybe High Fidelity
Viaene
"The Blues Brothers" is far superior to the "2000" sequel, imho Yes, I think so too but '2000' has B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Billy Preston, Jimmy Vaughan,... on the same stage! Thanks for all the hints!
Lucky
Have you seen "Ray" Viaene? It's filled with great bluesy music. And Jamie Foxx is superb.

Jk
How about Wayne's World and Wayne's World 2. It's not about a band, but it has a lot of rock references. Like the Blues Brothers, it also came from a Saturday Night Live skit. My personal favorite rock movie, though is "Help!". It's basically several really good music videos all tied around a silly fun plot. On a related note, most people don't know there a book of the first Blues Brothers movie. There was a lot of stuff in it that wasn't shown in movie, like why Jake went to prison and where they stayed after the woman blew up their apartment. I actually did a high-school book report on it once.
