Farin
Gabriel did roughly as bad as I expected, but I'm actually quite dissapointed that I was the only one who voted for Bad Religion also that Blue Monday didn't make it... that one's a Classic! Steel2Velvet
S2V voted for both of my noms I still don't have much chance of either making the 10, but I'll be happy if Lenny K. and or/Seal make it. Go guys!! And I had heard neither until I viewed your noms, Jenny. Both struck chords in me, obviously. Good, solid, working-class TT. I got one in. After nominating "Kiss From A Rose" I found it had been in Pirates O.T.C.II and had gotten a ton of Grammy over-exposure. I am so sheltered, I have only heard the song about 5 times in my life, while in the car each time. But everytime I have heard it, the entire ensemble production quality and musicality blows me away! edna
I just saw The Smithereens were about to make it for just two points... My fault, I voted Shocking Blue and Lobo before my own noms (they deserve it ) I´ll renominate it soon too...
Jenny
Lenny K. and Seal made it!!! And Prince and the Wallflowers, too. I'm glad Venus made #1, but I actually like Bananarama's version better(dodging tomatoes). Edited August 15, 2008 by Guest
