Steel2Velvet
The people in the media who dress and talk like me are portrayed positively This question seems more about self-esteem than a portrait of priviledge within life. ALL people are - at some point - portrayed positively in the media. We are all the same, in that respect.

I never felt underpriveliged. My grandparents were part of the original settlers in Wyo. Everyone struggled then but we were better off than a lot of people. We lived on a farm. There was no electric therefore no telly. Oh the stories I could tell but I had an out of sight life growing up and I wouldn't change a moment.
