"Time Team America, episode #1" on PBS via DVD timeshift. This "72 Hours" high tech+trowels and paintbrush team is looking for evidence of the first English settlement at Fort Raleigh, NC. The result? Pieces of earthenware pots and plates, both Indian and European. Also evidence of postholes, suggesting a house built near a "Science Center."

" In the Heat Of The Night " (1967 ) : Not the most stunning murder -mystery, but certainly one of the best in terms of acting , and the issues raised ( though dated a bit now , but could be applied to new situations ) throughout as the story progresses . Chief Gillespie and Det. Tibbs are certainly iconic figures in cinema/drama . Rod Steiger and Sidney Poitier were perfectly cast . 10/10

Time shifted 7/20 "The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson" Oy, Paris Hilton is representing NASA? Earworm alert! Craig, his merry band of co-conspirators and the hand puppet quarter (Bellhop Monkey, Elvis the Pig, Green Dino, and The Gay Shark) are singing/performing "Love Theme from 'Fireball XL5"! Whos on first? Margaret Cho!

"Ca-seen-it, I liked it better the first time I saw it, when it was called Goodfellas"

~ David Spade on SNL

I totally forgot about when David Spade used to do that on SNL news. Now I feel both happy and really old.
