Tony Baloni
New song up on myspace, it's more like a work in progress, but check it out- if you're feeling brave. Whatever's Beyond This
Kevin
Chris , if you are doing all that yourself ... awesome . I'd say perhaps too many vocal changes in the beginning until you have your lyrics and sound nailed as you want them , and the Beatle-esque bit is fine but again throws the song off into a different sound it hasn't yet established along with the ending vocals ... All in all, 7.5/10 :guitar: You've got a good voice and guitar sound , there Neil ; just put the pieces together and it will be a hit !
MuzikTyme
It has a dreamy feel to it. Reminds me of what Eels might sound like if John Lennon was vocalist. I liked it! I say keep up your one-man-band show!!!
Steel2Velvet
I like it a lot. You have a charismatic voice. The instrumentation and arrangement creatively aggressive.
Ken
The beginning has a subtle whiff of Neil Young's "Helpless" in it. I liked it a lot Chris.
Mike
I don't know why, I really don't... but I was thinking Canned Heat and the sounds that came out of the late sixties, throw in a little Strawberry Alarmclock for influence too. Interesting, keep it up, the skies the limit Chris!
_Laurie_
I like it...I agree with the advice that the others have given you also...good vocals, and I love the lyrics to this song also...
Udo
I like it A LOT. You know, a lot of artists have to do all the work themselves--Prince & Moby notably. Tommy James had to perform almost all of Crimson and Clover himself, and Steve Winwood performed the entire Arc of a Diver album singlehandedly.
