MarcM
I usually leave parties after 2 beers because I generally do not like to drink. There are the rare occasions when I an having a good time and I loose track of how many drinks I have had, but that happens quite infrequently. I am talking about gatherings for work, not family parties. I dont drink anything stronger than coffee at family events. I just dont care that much about it. I do like my cigars, though. Epiphany
Well, belching the alphabet could come in handy for her one day. You never know. - Over the weekend I accidentally stepped on a screw and it got stuck in my foot... and I had to go to the hospital. I have pictures on Facebook if anyone wants to get grossed out. - Sometimes I eat food right out of the can because I'm lazy.
Foolonthehill
I eat tuna right out of the can. Which is gross, I'm told, as well as lazy.
Uncle Joe
I'm dialing the can police on both of you.
Mars88
I got stung by a wasp yesterday and now my fingers look like smokies...they were never very slender in the first place. When will the itching stop!
edna
I usually leave parties after 2 beers because I generally do not like to drink. I usually leave parties without saying goodbye to no one (except the host) Otherwise it´s two more hours kissign people and insisting "No, really, I have to go" and exchanging phone numbers et all... I also eat standing in front of the fridge, from the can or the tupperware.
MarcM
I used to do the same thing, Edna. Now, everyone knows I usually leave early. They dont try to stop me anymore because they know I wont show up at all if I get any static from them.

Jenny
I have never been drunk. Not being in control of myself scares me, so I stop when I get buzzed.
Ombre Vivante
I've been drunk a coupla times, but I don't get drunk like most people. I can keep drinking and still possess a semblance of what's going on around me. Par example, I can do calculus even when I lose my motor skills completely, which is how I cruised through some of those undergrad classes
MarcM
I am able to remember everything, I just loose my motor skills and I get really silly.
Ombre Vivante
Speaking of photographs. There were long stretches of years when I didn't have my photograph taken. I don't even appear in a couple of yearbook pictures. It wasn't until a few years back that I took some photos.
The Seeker
Same with me. I'd never get up to something really stupid when I'm drunk... my mind's not all that affected (though I don't usually remember everything).
Levis
I don't think I have it in me to get out-of-my-mind drunk... I stop once I start to get shaky (and sleepy :sleepy:)
Viaene
I came to a point of alcohol tolerance where I start to feel sick before I become totally drunk. So that lowered my drunk moments to very few.
Levis
^ yeah that's it... that's what happens. But I wouldn't call mine 'tolerance' (I'm from the wrong country to have 'tolerance' )... it's just a slightly dizzy, shaky feeling - so once that kicks in it's a matter of 'ugh... no more :stars:' Maybe I'm just a drink wimp
The Seeker
Maybe that depends on how fast you drink.
Kevin
I could probably drink you all under the table then ; pinch your wallets when you pass out/puke ; pay the tab and have cab fare home and bit to spend tomorrow ... Let's party !

Shawna
I have a sneaking suspicion, Bloof, that you haven't truly thought that statement all the way through.
