I know he deserves the term Wacko Jacko, and I wouldn't let any of my kids/grandkids go to a sleepover with him, but he was one of the most talented musicians of the 20th Century. Billie Jean is one of the best songs of the 80s.

I'd rather listen to him than some bands that shall remain nameless.

:afro:

And as the frontman of the Jackson5 he was amazing...

I bet you didn't even listen to that nameless band... go ahead, you might be surprised :shades:

Yes, to be fair I'll listen to all nominations before I vote.

How do you know I wasn't talking about Led Zeppelin though ???

OLD 55 Said:Next we'll have all those kids from the 'Gloved One's' Fan Club back here canvassing. Remember when they infiltrated Songfacts ?

I don't know how this Post was taken as a comparison to Pearl Jam or any other Band/Artist though ?

Much ado about nothing.

'cos it was a reply to my post which had only one word in it viz. the title of a Pearl Jam song :smirk:

also, your next line was:

But Tim is a nice guy, so we don't mind. I'll most likely vote for his other nomination though.

Ergo, it is highly unlikely you were referring to L(B)Z :beatnik: :beatnik: :beatnik:

Ledjam, there is a rule that you have to nominate first if you are going to vote. Only 'regulars' who usually nominate, but miss nominating through an oversight or other reason are extended the privilege of voting.

My friend, I've had a look back through your Posts and I see that you've either nominated and not voted, or voted without nominating on a number of occasions. This doesn't qualify you as a 'regular'. As this has been allowed before by my cohorts, we'll count your votes this time* but not in future if you don't follow proper procedure. Sorry !

We'd love to see you here as a regular in future Tens though !!!

* I hope everyone thinks that's fair. I thought long and hard about it.
