greendaddy43 Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 The Empyrean solo album by John Frusciante. It's got a crazy psychedelic sound to it. Nothing like the Chili Peppers music at all.
miamisammy29 Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 I made a killing at Circuit City yesterday....40 percent off everything. I grabbed six pretty cool CD's...for a total of 36 bills. "August and Everything After" - Counting Crows "Binaural" - Pearl Jam "The Best of Sublime" "The Very Best of ELO" Some Judas Priest live album (can't remember the name, though) ...and I picked up "Jagged Little Pill" for the girlfriend as a Valentine's Day gift. She likes Alanis Morissette....well, at least that one album.
Jenny Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 I bought "Here Come the 123's" by They Might Be Giants for my daughter.

MuzikTyme Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 Dammit! All the Circuit City stores have long been closed in my area!
miamisammy29 Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 Most of the racks have been picked clean already, but it was definitely worth the trip. LET'S HEAR IT FOR FALTERING INDUSTRY! HIP HIP... HOORAY! HIP HIP...HOORAY!
MuzikTyme Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 it was definitely worth the trip. That was the exact thing I thought when I last traveled through my cow pasture. Bing Crosby also would sing the same; Lot a doo doo!
Ombre Vivante Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 - A Nora Orlandi movie score. - An Ennio Morricone movie score. - A Haihm cd. - A compilation called "Siamese" of more Pastel bands.
Viaene Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 The Empyrean solo album by John Frusciante. It's got a crazy psychedelic sound to it. Nothing like the Chili Peppers music at all. I'm gonna get that one too! John's solo work is mostly different from his work with the Peppers, but both are very good kinds of music
greendaddy43 Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 I'm gonna get that one too! John's solo work is mostly different from his work with the Peppers, but both are very good kinds of music Yeah it's crazy cause I don't just listen to one song whenever I put it on. I have to listen to the whole thing every time.

Uncle Joe Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 Speak Low-Boz Scaggs 6/10...a little disappointing.
Farin Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 Supergrass is 10 (Best of 1994 - 2004) very cool
The Seeker Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 The Smiths -- The Smiths It's about time I dug deeper than just their singles.
Viaene Posted March 6, 2009 Report Posted March 6, 2009 Only By the night - Kings of Leon the so-called sellouts rock big time
Ombre Vivante Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 1. I bought a 4-disc Disco compilation set for 17 bucks, including shipping. Totally werth it I'd pay that much just for the fourth disc in the set 2. I got a Neuropa cd (only two or three songs in it are repeat listening). 3. I finally ordered the ABBA Pa Svenska for 28. Pas mal. It used to be worth 50 to 100USD when it was in the outta print market. This bad economy has lowered the value of a lot of collectibles, maybe.
