Pleased To Meet Me - The Replacements

Octahedron - The Mars Volta

Loveless - My Bloody Valentine

Everything All The Time - Band of Horses

Made In The Dark - Hot Chip

The Spirit of Apollo - N.A.S.A.

They were lying around in the studio, so on my computer they went. Kind of funny to see a review from a 1991 ND student of Loveless (each cd has a music committee staff written mini review attached to them so DJ's know what they're getting into. Apparently this is something that's been done since the station began).

It referred to them as "neo-psychedelic gods". That's about all I remember. But I figure you'd be in full agreement.

Probably :D I'm just curious because I'm wondering what the initial response was. Everyone now worships it, but I figure the first reactions may have been a bit more confused, a bit less universal
