Lea
Well I just found another one removed If my PC doesn't crash again when I try to make them I can make the vids myself. I will have to mis-tag the Lightfoot vid because it seems like have all of his been removed. I had been looking for the video of the one I want to use for years and I finally find it just to have it removed
Farin
it could be that they recognize the song even if you mis-tag it by the mp3 that is used
MindCrime
I don't think I'm going to bother linking all of my songs, at least not the ones that everybody already knows, like Stairway or JJ Flash.
edna
I think I'll make a list with plenty of very well known songs so you won't even have to waiste time to listen... though I already made my list but I also removed some 10 exotic tracks. Steel2Velvet
Edna, don't dumb it down. Stay with your convictions. Someone can always dig around the internet to find a song you like and listen to it, even of "exotic."

Lea
You would deny me the opportunity to hear new music
Farin
yes, please don't give us the chance to listen to new music, we want to hear the same old songs again and again and again and again and again and...

MindCrime
I might do it that way. This would be a good opportunity to get R&B, Pop, Jazz, Techno, & Rap out there instead of tired-out classic rock and boring alternative.
pinkstones
I'm really not fazed if the songs on my list are new to people or if they're songs they've heard hundreds of times. I chose 50 songs that fit the theme I wanted to do this time around, and I know they're all songs the Songfactors know. I think in a way that makes it more hard because I can't gauge what song(s) will be popular and what won't.
Steel2Velvet
... tired-out classic rock and boring alternative. Not that anyone is degrading the music included in the PTT lists that have already been presented thus far. Like music, the PTT exercise is simply for personal enjoyment and perhaps occasional introspection. None of us will be any the worse for whatever songs are selected for the lists. Lea
... tired-out classic rock scuse me mister, you take that back or I'll sic usel on you :beady:
Lucky
My list will have plenty of classics, but not necessarily the classics that many of you know. Just the opposite of the last list.
MindCrime
I don't think I'll include Beatles or Stones. I don't want them automatically getting #1 just because they are who they are. On my previous list, Lucy in the Sky was #1 & Out of Time #2. I know it's because of the "Singer, not the Song" rule.
_Laurie_
I found that my list consisted of many "classics" that I have great memories from...growing up in the late 60's/70's was a great time for some great music, and memories for me....some of those songs are now considered classic rock songs.... skybluesky
I don't think I'll include Beatles or Stones. I don't want them automatically getting #1 just because they are who they are. I learned that lesson the hard way. I ended up with a great list that wasn't very "me."
Lucky
Yes, my list won't have any of the big guns on it either.
skybluesky
Just as long as it has some Gram Parsons on it (she says with love in a total non-dictorial way )
pinkstones
I learned that lesson the hard way. I ended up with a great list that wasn't very "me." That was my problem as well. That's why I went a themed list this time around, to specifically avoid this problem.
