GroovyGal
Me? Insult a new member? Never! For those of you that aren't up on the meaning of devoid... de·void 1. not possessing, untouched by, void, or destitute (usually fol. by of). –verb (used with object) 2. to deplete or strip of some quality or substance: imprisonment that devoids a person of humanity. —Synonyms 1. lacking, wanting, destitute, bereft, barren. Now I wonder why I would have taken that comment as an insult?
The Seeker
Well, you're new, so you probably don't know the people here yet... but believe us when we tell you that UncleJoe is not the insulting type at all, and certainly not towards new members. Oh, and for the record I did not mean that you are devoid. I was referring to your point, as were you. Edited April 24, 2008 by Guest For clarification. Viaene
Have you read "Angels & Demons" too? ...also gives an interesting view on how the Catholic Church and Vatican work say that again this summer and I'll read it (then I will have some spare time)
TheLizard
The Da Vinci Code is an amazing work of fiction. Some of the "facts" presented are possible, but there is little to no evidence that they're true, and the Priory of Sion was proven to be a hoax long before Dan Brown decided to make them the centerpiece of his story.
