Viaene
I'm thinking about restarting my attempts to learn some guitar I have an acoustic (classical) guitar I'd like to start with strumming and rather easy finger picking Do you have some suggestions? I would most apreciate it, looking for songs is the most annoying part of learning guitar on your own

c_s_1987
I definitely agree with Wish You Were Here. Fairly easy, and a great intro. Also, from you last Top Ten nominations, I recommend you get tabs for Nothing Else Matters. The picking pattern is quite easy, but very important. It's a bit difficult to play at full speed, but a good one to practise slowly.
_Laurie_
Doesn't everyone usually start with Stairway To Heaven?...

Clara
I love acoustic music. I'm not a musician so I'm no expert, but Bob Dylan and Neil Young have done a lot of acoustic beauties. And I know Stairway is a bit of a cliche, but Led Zeppelin have some gorgeous acoustic guitar lines as well (That's The Way, The Rain Song, Over The Hills ..., Going To California etc.), although as I said I'm no expert so I'm not sure how difficult they'd be for someone just starting out. Anyway, good luck. I admire your efforts. I've always had a desire to learn, coming from a family of guitar players, but I just don't have the time or discipline at the moment. Maybe one day ...
