blind-fitter
Helicopter Girl: inventive and idiosyncratic fusion of trip-hop, jazzy r'n'b, funk and electronica; by turns spooky, a little unsettling, surreal, playful, mischievous, erotic, slightly pervy. Great vocals by the charismatic Jackie Joyce (the creative force behind Helicopter Girl), who is a bit out there, but in a strangely seductive way. blind-fitter
A little more background info on Helicopter Girl Listen to Helicopter Girl on Last FM: HERE Her debut album, "How To Steal The World" was a Mercury Music Prize nominee in 2000. It's inventive, compelling, unique and all-round fab; well worth checking out.
Farin
really nice but I actually think the vocals... no - rather: her voice needs a bit time to get used to (not that it's bad mind you) I'm not making any sense do I?
