cyberjudge Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 (edited) My favorite Fleetwood Mac song ... and I've always loved Sonny & Cher. I was glued to their TV show when I was a kid. And OLD55, a great one with Photograph. Ringo was always my favorite Beatle. Edited April 1, 2008 by Guest
OLD 55 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Thanks Cyber. Yes, I always enjoyed Ringo's infrequent vocals on Beatles' records. Especially his cover of the old Shirelles' song 'Boys'.
Shawna Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 1. Blaze Of Glory ~ Jon Bon Jovi 2. I Need A Lover ~ John Cougar Mellenkamp
OLD 55 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 I just remembered I also have a third nomination owing to me. Is it OK to use it this time Lucky ? Great Video - a little different -, even though he swiped the riff from 'Under Pressure' I don't mean to be catty. Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice (1990) Comments appreciated without going into too much detail, and spoiling it for others.
Dappled Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Nice song, Darryl, but not really my cuppa tea. The singing is awful, like a cat on a hot tin roof
Udo Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Baby, Please Don't Go - Them (Their version isn't on YouTube, but naybe you're familiar with it anyway It's on Van Morrison's Greatest Hits. This song was the "A" side, with "Gloria" on the "B" side. (!)

Steel2Velvet Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Young people will "discover" the Beatles 200 years from now.
Viaene Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 I didn't "discover" artist from 200 year ago, I find them rather dull compared to younger music. Not sure if you're right there S2V..
_Laurie_ Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Well Vianene, The Beatles weren't around 200 years ago...
Viaene Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Interesting remark Laurie *note: can I request a name change? It seems only my familie can write 'Viaene'
Lucky Posted April 1, 2008 Author Report Posted April 1, 2008 Nah, Viaene, I've got it now... Just type it so it looks wrong, and it's right!
The Seeker Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 I don't have any trouble at all with your name, Vaenena (If Paradise Is) Half As Nice -- Amen Corner (1969) Young Boy -- Paul McCartney (1997)
Steel2Velvet Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Young people will "discover" the Beatles 200 years from now. I didn't "discover" artist from 200 year ago, I find them rather dull compared to younger music. Not sure if you're right there S2V.. I'd be willing to wager on it. You?
Shawna Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I think there may have been one or two little ditties 200 years ago that caught the attention of perhaps a person. Or more. 1808 - the year in music
Viaene Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I'd be willing to wager on it. You? will we ever know who was 'right'
