The Seeker
I'm sorry too. This is my 3rd top 10 and it is by far the strongest field since I started; so much so that I had to make a tie for the last spot, or there would be too many songs left out that I wanted to vote for: 1. Longer 2. Angel Eyes 3. Loves Me Like a Rock 4. Junior’s Farm 5. Sloop John B 6. Blowin’ in the Wind 7. Hazy Shade of Winter 8. Rosanna 9. Good Thing 10. (tie) Brand New Key Breakfast at Tiffany’s Cover Me Hip to Be Square I Started a Joke Something to Talk About Too Much Time on My Hands The Way You Make Me Feel Your #10 is just in alphabetical order... which one's the one that gets the point? The way it is right now, I'd give it to Brand New Key.
Dappled
Criminy. After looking back at the list, I realized that The Everly Brothers were left off as well. Only those up to Steel had voted, and I have pt'd all those affected. Somebody want my job? Many apologies Dappled. It's OK, Lucky! 3 noms next week sounds great! 1. A Hazy Shade Of Winter - Simon & Garfunkel (1966) 2. Brand New Key - Melanie (1971) 3. Rosanna - Toto (1982) 4. Hey Baby - Bruce Channell (1962) 6. More Than This - Roxy Music (1982) 7. Sloop John B - Beach Boys (1966) 8. Guitar Man - Bread (1972) 9. Turn Me Loose - Loverboy (1981) 10.I Started A Joke - The Bee Gees (1968) .................................................. I feel guilty at leaving out so many great songs. Where is #5, Darryl? Did you reserve it for the Everlys?

edna
I´ve Been Hurt - Bill Deal and the Rhondells (1969) – This is the fifth time it’s nominated! Who did the original? The Tams? Yes, I nominate it over and over... It´s a cover of the Ray Whitley's song, according to allmusic: previously cut by the Tams Funny, he also wrote The Tam´s nomination for this Top, "What Kind of Fool (Do You Think I Am)" , a song that was also a hit for Bill Deal and the Rhondells...
