Weeeeell. Don't you think there were alot of homo-erotic overtones to the Gallaghers' macho aggressive posturings? Maybe Damon was suggesting that underneath all that bravado, Liam's just a big girl? Damon's quite clever- 's why the Gallaghers never liked or trusted him- it's not beyond him to have been referring to one thing (Liam) one minute, then about something else entirely (Justine's uncanny ability to distract him from the woes of his homoerotic confrontations with the Beatle-Bums) the next.

Hey, I'm not advocating the theory, just putting it out there, y'know? :shades:

Katmandu - Bob Seger

Bad Penny - Rory Gallagher

This song probably won't fare well in the voting which is a shame, because this guy could flat out play. IMO, he is one of the most talented and underrated electric guitarists of all time. He makes it seem so effortless the way he makes that Stratocaster sing. I wish I had been able to see him play live because I bet he put on a helluva show.

You could be right, but all put together, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I know Oasis more than twice as well as Blur of course, but...

Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me - Elton John

Girls on Film - Duran Duran

I require YouTubage, s'il vous plait. Please don't put up the uncensored version of Girls on Film because we do have to be mindful of the impressionable young Songfactors, but feel free to search for it yourselves if you are so inclined. It's filled with bountiful, bouncing boobies.

1. Sin City - AC/DC ("Ladders and snakes....ladders give, snakes take."    )

2. Civil War - Guns N' Roses (Hands down, their best! One of the Top 100 of all time.)

3. Misery - Soul Asylum (Before Pirner went completely apesh*t, he wrote some damn cool tunes!)

4. Pictures of Lily - The Who (Spank it, Raj, spank it!)

5. Pictures of Matchstick Men - Status Quo (I've always liked this song, though I never knew what the hell it meant. Camper Van Beethoven does a nice cover, too.)

6. Snowblind Friend - Steppenwolf ("He only had a dollar to live on till next Monday.")

7. 21st Century (Digital Boy) - Bad Religion ("I don't know how to live but I've got a lot of toys." Sounds like my autobiography.)

8. Have A Cigar - Pink Floyd (Another one of those classics that have somehow eluded the Top Ten.)

9. Photograph - Ringo Starr (That Ringo dude is no Pete Best, that's for sure.)

10. Rat Trap - Boomtown Rats (This band was actually pretty damn good, but unfortunately they got lumped in with the New Wavers of the early 80's and their career took a giant dump.)
