Tenacious_Peaches
No need for a new thread about every show that's on TV...just post thoughts here. Project Runway, anyone? I'm totally in love with Chris, but I think Christian will win.

Farin
[big]Strike Update: When Are My Favorite Shows Coming Back?[/big] [smaller]Posted on February 11, 2008 by Neil Miller neil@filmschoolrejects.com Link[/smaller] The strike could be over soon. In fact, it could be over on Tuesday when the Writer’s Guild of America (WGA) finishes voting on the “tentative agreement†that was reached over the weekend. So for fans, the spotlight turns from the strike itself to what happens when all the writers go back to work. People want to know when they are going to see their favorite shows once again. blue_n_white
My favorite show,"Deal or No deal", stayed on during the strike. Good thing the writers had already came up with "open the case" before the strike.
Tony Baloni
I really hope they air the last few episodes of Scrubs on NBC. I can't wait for The Office to come back!

Jenny
I don't know whether to be happy or sad that I haven't missed any of these shows. Usually, kids shows are on at my house, and when I do get time for TV, I watch reruns on Nick at Nite while I fold laundry, do crosswords, etc. I do watch "Don't Forget The Lyrics" and am looking forward to "Dancing with The Stars". Some nights I read in silence or with the radio on.

Otokichi
I used to never watch any ABC TV shows, but since the writer's strike, I've been checking out the following: "October Road" "Men In Trees" "Lost" (The flash forwards are verry interesting.) "Eli Stone" Note: The local cable TV service provider sometimes displays full screen "video static" with ABC shows, so I have to visit the ABC.com site to catch up on the "lawyer/prophet" and the poison gas cliffhanger on "Lost.") "New Amsterdam" looks like this season's "Raines."
Ombre Vivante
Hey, is Tony Baloni? Nah, really? I have no idea what yer talkin' about, man Best show on the tellie has to be the true crime shows on A&E. The First 48 is totally awersome. It's a very fascinating line of work. Mars88
Has anyone heard of a Canadian show called Kenny vs Spenny? I think it is geared toward men, because I find the humour quite gross (my husband busts a gut laughing every time he watches it). It is set up as a competition between two roommates, such as: who can take the most torture, who can be tied to a goat the longest, who can blow the biggest fart... you get the picture. I think it is becoming available in the US, but it is in its 4th season in Canada, ugh. BTW, the loser of the competition for the week has to submit to a "humiliation"; Kenny often cheats, so the uptight Spenny is quite often the loser (with hilarious results). Farin
a few years ago there was a German show like that called "Elton vs. Simon" I didn't watch it too much, but I think it wasn't that gross here... they had competitions like who can stay awake longer, who can gain more weight in three days, who can earn more money in three days, who can stay longer under a cold shower, etc and I don't remember anything about a humilation or reward, but I could be wrong here

Levis
Random film thought here: I just remembered this movie I used to watch religiously when I was little called The Ugly Dachshund about a Great Dane brought up in a house full of Dachshie puppies who thinks he's a lapdog. I liked that movie
