MuzikTyme
Li'l late in my response; I thought Tom Petty was in TOP form. One thing's for sure and, too, for certain . . . We'll all get old. Tom's top shelf, IMHO.
MindCrime
I live 2 miles away from where the game was held, and had been planning on getting tickets for just that event. Luckily I've seen him live before for his full set which is much better, but this game being the second highest rated television ever, (behind the final episode of M*A*S*H*) he could've chosen a better set of songs to perform. CanAm
Although there were some songs of his I would rather have heard, I thought he and The Heartbreakers did a great job. Mike Campbell is a very, very underrated guitarist. I've got tickets to see Petty when he comes to Calgary in August. I can't wait. I haven't seen him and the band since 1988 in Toronto and that was one of the top five concerts I've ever seen. :guitar:

MindCrime
Just a rumour- but I hear Bon Jovi is going to play one of the coming up super bowls.
Farin
I think the chances are pretty good oh, I just noticed something while watching the video... this was done on the field during the half-time, right? did they do anything to protect the grass, with the heavy stage and the hundreds of fans? in soccer there are almost no people allowed to be on the field even a couple days before such a big match (let alone during half time)... MindCrime
The Cardinals stadium is astro-turf... regular grass doesn't grow very well here in Phoenix. This was probably the only Important game that'll ever be played here.
