Dappled
1. Waterloo Sunset - The Kinks (1967) The most beautiful song of the 60s. 2. A Hard Day's Night - The Beatles (1964) My first grammophone was a cheap thing that you had to plug into a radio. Not very good sound quality! The theatre where I saw the movie A Hard Day's Night had a great sound system and when the lights turned down and the first chord of the song rang out it just blew me away! 3. Handbags And Gladrags - Chris Farlowe (1967) Chris Farlowe was one of the very best singers of the 60s and he was given such a wonderful song with Handbags And Gladrags. Pity it didn't chart. 4. When The Levee Breaks - Led Zeppelin (1971) If this one gets into the TT, most of the songs from Led Zeppelin IV have made it. Only Misty Mountain Hop and Four Sticks left! 5. Stagger Lee - Lloyd Price (1959) Classic! 6. Do You Love Me - The Contours (1962) Classic!! 7. My Hometown - Bruce Springsteen (1984) 8. My Way - Frank Sinatra (1969) 9. You Make Me Feel Brand New - The Stylistics (1974) 10. Owner Of A Lonely Heart - Yes (1983) 11. Mercy, Mercy - The Rolling Stones (1965) 12. Something In The Air - Thunderclap Newman (1969) 13. Mosquito Song - Queens of the Stone Age (2002) Quite good! 14. Do What You Do, Do Well - Ned Miller (1964) 15. Black Velvet - Alannah Myles (1989) 16. Dirty Old Town - The Pogues (1985) 17. It Makes No Difference - The Band (1975) 18. Talk To Ya Later - The Tubes (1981) 19. This Wheel's On Fire - The Byrds (1969) 20.
