Hmmm okay cool!

Best Picture- "There Will Be Blood" The title sounds interesting...

Best Actor- Daniel Day - Lewis ... I would of liked to of picked George Clooney, but I really haven't heard much about him lately...so I'll leave him out of this one.

Best Actress- Laura Linney... I know who she is!

Best Supporting Actor- Philip Seymour Hoffman...I've heard this name before, I think he's from around my neck of the woods...

Best Supporting Actress- Saoirse Ronan .... I like the name.

Best Director- Joel Coen and Ethan Coen... Can't go wrong with Coen & Coen, right?

Best Original Score- Marco Beltrami... His name rhymes with salami!

Best Original Song- "That's How You Know" from "Enchanted," Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz... These dudes have 3 songs nominated, one of them has got to get in...

I haven't seen any of these films, but I'm voting based on guesses and what I've read about each movie/actor:

Best Picture: Atonement (I think it got the Golden Globe, so it may get the Oscar)

Best Actor: Johnny Depp (the Academy loves the underdog)

Best Actress: Ellen Page (Academy likes kids, too)

Best Supporting Actor: Javier Bardem

Best Supporting Actress: Cate Blanchett

Best Director: Paul Thomas Anderson

Best Score: "Ratatouille" by Michael Giacchini

Best Original Song: "That's How You Know" from Enchanted

I was so pleased Falling Slowly won! Little film, little song, a winner in a big way. Both of them were so excited, and then they cut her off, which sucked. Everyone realized that though, and were trully happy that they brought her back. She, her...what is that girl's name?
