musiclvr
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are still on the road heavily supporting the Magic album, and meanwhile, iTunes customers can get a hold of an exclusive "Girls In Their Summer Clothes" bundle starting today. The iTunes release marks the premiere of the "Girls In Their Summer Clothes" video and also includes a "Winter Mix" of the song and a live rendition. Directed by Mark Pellington ("Lonesome Day," Pearl Jam's "Jeremy"), the video was shot in Ocean Grove and Asbury Park, NJ. In other news, the group's extensive tour schedule for 2008 has been set. They will travel North America through the end of April and then head to Europe before coming back for three shows in East Rutherford, NJ on July 27, 28 and 31. musiclvr
Girls in Their Summer Clothes I don't have access to iTunes, but I found this on youtube, it is photos of the video shoot to the song. This is a great tune, makes you think of summer and every great feeling you can experience during summertime.
RonJonSurfer
Thanks for that. I'm always happy to see pics of my beloved Jersey Shore. That looks like Ocean Grove, but it's hard to tell because they stayed in one area for the most part.
musiclvr
It is Ocean Grove. I went to the website at the end of the video and checked out all the pics that were taken the day of the video shoot. Looks like somewhere I would love to visit someday, and get a tour from Bruce...yeah right! But still looks like a nice beach.
RonJonSurfer
Remember to BYOB to Ocean Grove...it's a dry town and the sales of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Ah, give me a call, I can sneak some in.

RonJonSurfer
I'll remember that, and don't be surprised if you get a call, can you round up Bruce too?? Yeah, he'll be at my house for the Giants game on Sunday. You want Southside too? When we send Bon Jovi for more beer I'll discuss it with Bruce. (Don't want Jon upset if he isn't invited). musiclvr
The video...finally!! Enjoy and think of great summer fun! Girls in Their Summer Clothes Well, the streetlights shine down on Blessing Avenue Lovers they walk by, holding hands two by two A breeze crosses the porch, bicycle spokes spin 'round My jackets on, I'm out the door And tonight I'm gonna burn this town down The girls in their summer clothes In the cool of the evening light The girls in their summer clothes, pass me by A kids rubber ball smacks Off the gutter 'neath the lamp light Big bank clock chimes Off go the sleepy front porch lights Downtown the stores alight as the evening's underway Things been a little tight But I know their gonna turn my way And the girls in their summer clothes In the cool of the evening light The girls in their summer clothes, pass me by Frankie's diner, an old friend on the edge of town The neon sign spinning round Like a cross over the lost and found The fluorescent lights flick over Pop's Grill Shaniqua brings the coffee and asks "Fill?" and says "Penny for your thoughts now my boy, Bill" She went away, she cut me like a knife Hello beautiful thing, maybe you could save my life In just a glance, down here on magic street Loves a fool's dance And I ain't got much sense, but I still got my feet The girls in their summer clothes In the cool of the evening light The girls in their summer clothes, pass me by The girls in their summer clothes In the cool of the evening light The girls in their summer clothes, pass me by
