Tenacious_Peaches
Every year I look forward to awards season like farmers look forward to harvest season. Yes, it means that much to me. And yes, I am very much aware that I need a life. The writer's strike has not only brought me sadness because all of my shows have come to a screeching halt, but it is now affecting my beloved award shows. I simply cannot take a winter with no craptastic, self-congratulatory, fashion faux pas laden award shows. I shan't know what to do with myself. Anyhoo, the winners were announced for the Golden Globes... TheLizard
I've never understood why musicals and comedies are grouped into the same category.
skybluesky
Probably to differentiate Musicals from Dramas, but Musicals certainly have drama in their own right.
TheLizard
If you're not going to put dramatic musicals with dramas and comedic musicals with comedies, make them their own category. Still, SWEENEY TODD
skybluesky
Perhaps it has more to do with the fact that musicals are not as prevalent as they once were. I thought Hairspray would've faired better.

Otokichi
Probably has sonething to do with "Blazing Saddles" or "The Producers." (Come to think of it, why hasn't "Blazing Saddles" been turned into a Broadway musical?)
Batman
Damn, "Once" should have won the musical category.
