miamisammy29
1. Run Runaway - Slade ("See chameleon lying there in the sun. All things to everyone, run runaway!") 2. Immortality - Pearl Jam (My other favorite Pearl Jam song. I could never remember the name. That's why it took me so long to nominate it.) 3. Live Forever - Oasis (Their first and their best!) 4. Still The Same - Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band (Along with Zeppelin and the Stones, Seger owned the late 70's and early 80's) 5. Miss You - The Stones (Not my favorite Stones tune, but the 12-minute live version kicks royal a$$! At a Stones concert, this is the song I usually blow off to go take a bathroom break.) 6. Soulfinger - The Bar-Kays ("They must be having trouble getting gigs." 10 points to the first person who guesses this reference.) 7. Breadfan - Budgie (How can one not like a heavy metal band named after a parakeet?! I, too, am a fan of bread....the food, not the band. Potato rolls are especially tasty.) 8. I've Seen All Good People - Yes (Good Yes. Bad, no.) 9. Karn Evil 9 - Emerson, Lake & Palmer ("Welcome back my friends, to the show that never ends." Between Impressions I, II and III, Part I's and Part II's, it seems like THIS SONG never ends.) 10. Virtual Insanity - Jamiroquai (I love the dude's hat. They were selling them at a Stones concert where Jamiroquai opened. Thought about buying one, but nah! Thought about going in the concert early to see the opening band, but nah! Got sh*tfaced in the parking lot instead.)

Definatly a 70's Hard Rock Ten for me. These songs (Still the 70's ) just missed out, because there weren't enough spots... Run Runaway - Slade ~ I LOVE Slade. In another ten, this would have made the cut. Breadfan - Budgie ~ WHY don't I know these guys? I loved the song, but it's hard, the first time out... Ain't That A Bitch - Johnny "Guitar" Watson ~ Love it! For the Songfactors that are unaware Johnny "Guitar" Watson IS "The Gangster of Love" and is where Steve Miller got his famous line in "The Joker".... My brain is leaking out of my ears at this very moment.
Lucky
I completely left Hocus Pocus (yes, it's wonderfully freaky-deaky!) off my list. Add that to the list of almost mades....this was a festival of 70's rockers!

Jenny
I was too late to nominate yesterday, but it's better I didn't, because I had 14 songs to narrow down.
