Rayzor
Share The Land ~ The Guess Who This tune gets almost no airplay. It's always "AMerican woman" or "no sugar tonight - new mother nature" that gets played from the Guess Who. I was absolutely giddy when I heard it on Q-92 Classics Cafe (Jane's show). I even told her too. I live in the city where they come from and that song never gets airplay!
Sweet Jane 61
It's in our rotation Ray. Always has been since I've worked there, funny how it isn't in Canada.
Rayzor
Another couple of songs that don't get played much up here in Canada are: Seasons In The Sun Volunteers White Rabbit I can imagine in some southern states (perhaps Tennessee ) the song Volunteers is overplayed, but in Canada it doesn't get any airtime, just like White Rabbit. Not sure if there's a grudge there or something!
c_s_1987
The following bands/artists are underplayed here in Perth: The Who Lynyrd Skynyrd (except for Sweet Home Alabama) CSN/CSNY Bob Dylan Led Zeppelin Ramones Well, of course there are many less popular bands that are severely underplayed, but I thought these ones might surprise some people, since they could be considered overplayed in other countries. TW Taylor
"Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zep I only recall maybe once or twice ever hearing it on the radio. Only heard it 7 times over 4 years on my radio station. As for here: Parachute Woman-The Rolling Stones You don't hear this one on the radio. neil
Frankenstein by Edgar Winter. A no 1 in the USA but have never heard it ever on a UK station. The performance on Old Grey Whistle Test is legendary.
johnnyguitar
Do you mean this....?? Awesome. Saw him live a couple of years ago...and he can still do it. If anything, his current band are better...the guitarist is jawdropping!

Epiphany
"Sweet Jane" is the only song that I've heard on the radio by The Velvet Underground. They're so underrated and underplayed.
neil
Living in the UK, the ONLY Joni Mitchell song ever heard is Big Yellow Taxi. Kind of wish somebody would tow it away and start playing ANYTHING from Court and Spark.
