The Band got it's name as being the backing "band" behind Dylan... Dylan sites may help... also The Band's "Chest Fever" was on Three Dog Night's first album... search for members sites... very interesting band, wish you well.

I don't know if Entertainment Weekly features the same information on its website than it does in the magazine, but a few weeks back, they had a good story about Levon Helm. I know very little about The Band, so to me it was a great read.
