Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band have announced a handful of dates for 2008. The band will revisit Hartford Connecticut, where they kicked off the Magic tour earlier this year, and as of now the dates are set through April 25 in Atlanta. Most of the shows go on sale this weekend. Bruce and the band will finish off 2007 with a European tour, starting after Thanksgiving in Spain.

The confirmed dates are:

2/28 - Hartford, CT

3/6 - Rochester, NY

3/7 - Buffalo, NY

3/16 - St. Paul, MN

4/7 - Anaheim, CA

4/25 - Atlanta, GA

Meanwhile, the band has been sneaking in some new songs on their current run of the U.S., which ends on Monday in Boston. The Detroit show featured two tour premieres - "Jackson Cage" and "Ramrod" - and the first-time-ever performance of "I'll Work For Your Love." Cleveland fans got to hear the tour premieres of "It's Hard To Be A Saint In The City" and "Be True."

Tim: "So, would you be willing to get a hotel room in Houston or Dallas to see Bruce Springsteen in April?"

Dad: "Hell yeah!"

Well that was easy.

Of course, this is the same man who, when my little sister tried to change the radio station, shouted "YOU DO NOT CHANGE THE CHANNEL WHEN THE DOORS ARE ON!" I have a great Dad.
