It came to life in 1972 Japan to challenge Philips' Compact Cassette and...failed. Here's another product of "Muppet Labs, Japan" that "Techmoan" found at a Japanese auction site. At the time, a Google! search for "Hipac" yielded nothing, but after this, Wikipedia may never be the same. Much smaller than an 8 track cartridge, this system looks like a PlayTape cartridge, which leads to an investigation and ends up with puppets of "The Moan" family.;)
