I know it's early in the year (nearly mid-September!) to be discussing Christmas, but locally, we're having a spell of "English weather," cloudy with the possibility of rain, lighting, and flash floods. To the point: Do you know of any other artists/musicians who sing Irving Berlin's "White Christmas" complete with the lament about being in "tropical Los Angeles" in late December? Even Bing Crosby launched straight into the song, which I feel is lacks context without the lament's contrast. So, here are the Carpenters, singing the "complete version," which would have made World War II soldiers
