I was wondering, who decides to make a song a single? The record company? The artist?

This was actually really easy for me... 1. New Slang - The Shins 2. Where Is My Mind? - Pixies 3. Moonlight Mile - The Rolling Stones 4. Bloody Sunday Sunday - U2 5. Thank You - Dido 6. And I Love Her - The Beatles 7. Angel From Montgomery - Bonnie Raitt 8. Another One Bites The Dust - Queen 9. Wild World - Cat Stevens 10. Only Women (Bleed) - Alice Cooper -
Type in the year you were born, then it will show you a page about that year. On the right side of the page there should be a box that says "1988(or whatever year you chose) by topic" then click music and it should tell you about music in that year, including albums released that year.

Ohh Okay, sounds interesting! I don't think I have 20 songs to nominate because I haven't nominated a song every week. Should I just nominate however how many songs I have nominated in the past?(14, I believe) -

"Music is my weapon. I believe in music, in its spirituality, its exaltation, its ecsratic nobility, its humor, its power to penetrate to the basic fineness of every human being." -Henry Cowell, Stereo Review "As poerty is the harmony of words, so music is that of notes." -John Dryden "Take a music-bath once or twice a week for a few seasons, and you will find that it is to the soul what the water-bath is to the body." -Olviver Wendell Holmes "[Of Music]. Thou speakest to me of things which in all my endless life I have not found and shall not find." -Jean Paul Richter "Many men are melancholy by hearing music, but it is a pleasing melancholy that it causeth; and therefore to such as are discontent, in woe, fear, sorrow, or dejected, it is a most present remedy."-Robert Burton, The Anatomy Of Melancholy

Hmmm are they anything like Pelican? -
So VERY true, it always sounded like something I knew, but could never put my finger on it. That or the John Frusciante somehow managed to make it sound exactly like Purple Haze.
