  1. Star Wars is one of the best trilogies because of the soundtrack. It may be a rip-off of Stravinksy but when you say star wars every one thinks of the menacing riff "dahn dahn dahn dahn da dahn' and so on.

  2. Rolling stone is crap. I personnaly am completely disgusted with ANY Rolling Stone Magazine opinion. I was recently reading another post and someone said he picked That's All Right as the first Rock n' Roll album because Rolling Stone said it was. a very wise member named PinkFloyd1973 put it this way:

ROLLING STONE is to MUSIC as

NATIONAL ENQUIRER is to the SCIENTIFIC WORLD.

    perfect

I just thought the news should get out that it is good for lining the garbage can and not much else.

  3. Sup guys, i was just wondering what was yall's favorite Beck album. I'm gonna go with Mutations because its a little more mellow and accoustic than his other works. :guitar:

  4. :rockon:i think downloading music is junk not as good quality and if your downloading your favorite band then your making their life harder by taking money form them that they need as much as you and i i have over 180 cds and not one of them is burned or stolen i bought them all theres no better feeling then knowing what your doing to help other could help you in the long run what if you were a signer would you want you music being stolen by millions of people every day just think of all the money you would lose granted most people dont do it for the money they do it because they love it but they need to make a living also i have been a victim of having my own work stolen it sux because this piece could be real popular but i guess it dont matter because im getting no credit for it it almost makes you wanna kick the living helll out of the person/peoples that are doing it. dont be so stingy with your money go out and buy cds :drummer:

How much did the record companies pay you to say that?

  5. All the 1's mentioned are great at 1 style. I recently seen Roy Clark do a concert for a PBS station. This wasn't country, but classical in nature and was some really great guitar playing. I also have Randy Rhoads at the top of my list, but cant seem to forget about a man named Junior Brown. He has a lap steel and six string double-neck, and can play the s&*# out of it.I think anyone can pick 1 style and be great at it; it's those that are great at many styles that should be at the top of the list.

I agree skip, just think what segovia could have done on an electric, i mean his rhythms kick butt, its just too bad he thought the electric was a waste of a guitar.
