I HAD LIVE AT THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL. I ENJOYED IT AS A KID. I WISH I KNEW WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL OF MY RECORDS. YEARS LATER WHILE BACKSTAGE AT THE BOWL, I REMEMBERED THINKING "THIS IS WHERE THEY WERE" AS I LOOKED AROUND. THEN I SAW THE PHOTO OF THEM ON THE WALL WHILE PLAYING AT THE BOWL. THEY HAVE PHOTOS ALL OVER THE BACKSTAGE AREA OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE PLAYED THERE. IT IS KIND OF COOL...LIKE A HISTORY LESON OR A CAVE PAINTING.

i WOKE UP AT 330AM AND THOUGHT 430AM AND IT WAS TIME TO GET UP, SO I DID. BY THE TIME I WAS DONE SHOWERING, I REALIZED THAT IT WAS AN HOUR EARLIER THAN I THOUGHT IT WAS. NOW I AM AT WORK FOR 16 HOURS ON 2 HOURS SLEEP. I ROBBED MYSELF OF 1/3 OF MY NIGHTS SLEEP!

Thanks Lucky, I will pass that along to my wife, Nurse Ratchet. He is on 2 pills every 4 hours. He is, for the first time in 2 days, comfortable. He is just kicking back in his room listening to music. He does not go up or down the stairs unassisted. We are going to move him into the downstairs bedroom soon. He is 83 1/2, BTW.

He just lost his balance, Shawna. He is 83 and is not as fleet footed as he once was. He also was not using the handrail.
We just got back from his neurologist. Looks like he did not make it through the fall unscathed. In addition to upsetting his arthritis, he also broke his right clavicle in 2 spots and tore up some ligaments. Waiting to see what the next step is. We are already planning his move downstairs.

Definitely a show must go on guy. I think going up on stage is the best pain killer for him. It perks him right up to be among his fans. I will send along the well wishes, Edna!

My garage has become a lizard sanctuary. It must be too hot outside. They keep running up to me, then running away. Especially the little ones.

My poor father in law rolled down a flight of stairs a few nights ago. Fortunately, he did not break anything, but he has really aggravated the arthritis in his neck and shoulder. He was coming home at 3am after singing at a club. He is a trooper, and sang the night after it happened for a fund raiser at The Grammy Museum. They rolled him up to the stage in a wheel chair, then he got up, did 5 songs very well, then hung out for an hour. I hope he can get his pain managed by next week. He is flying to Connecticut to do a jazz clinic and perform at the Litchfield Jazz Festival.
