  1. Hi. For the longest time, I've been trying to figure out who sings a song called "I hate the bird". It goes to the tune of "I'm Like a Bird" by Nelly Furtado. It goes something like this: "I hate the bird I wish it'd fly away I don't know where the soap is I don't know where the hose is I think it's time we even up the score Throw their nests in the sewer Pay them back in manuere" I've heard it on the radio before and am just curious if any of you know it. Feel free to e-mail me at farrowlani@yahoo.com Aloha, farrowlani
  2. Anybody know a song with the lyrics, "see your fricken face" and "it's like everybody wants you, everybody needs you lately." A male sings the song, and I think it is fairly new (like sometime this year). :guitar: Thanks. farrowlani@yahoo.com ::
  3. Yep Sara, Mahalo is Hawaiian. It is "thank you" in Hawaiian. I don't speak very much Hawaiian. Since there are very many cultures (mostly asian) here in Hawaii, we kind of got our own language going on.
  4. or maybe it is LFO?? Please help. Mahalo plenty!!!
  5. "I said let's talk about it As she walked out on me and slammed the door But I just laugh about it Cause she's always playing those games Deep down I know she loves me But she's got a funny way of showing me she cares.... Sometimes it's black Sometimes it's white Sometimes she's wrong Sometimes I'm right Sometimes we talk about it Or we figure it out But then she just changes her mind Sometimes she's hot Sometimes I'm cold Sometimes my head wants to explode" I am just wondering who sings this song and what the song is called. This is a male group. They sound like LFO (alternative style, if you don't know who LFO is).
  6. I stand corrected. Here are the correct lyrics: Half of this morning and most of last night I've been taking tally on the last years of my life I've been pretty righteous, but God only knows A couple of calls were not even close At least my indiscretions were sweeter than most Oh, those loving arms those sweet, sweet, loving arms Count the bad, count the good And all I wouldn't change even if I could I used to stumble back when I was young And I'm still stumbling but now it's a lot more fun And I'm falling, I'm falling, I flew too close to the sun To get to your Chorus: Loving arms, your loving arms, your loving arms, your sweet, sweet loving arms To get to your loving arms, your loving arms, your loving arms, your sweet, sweet loving arms Empty pockets, motel beds Airline tickets, words better left unsaid Strange kisses get the ghost And what I miss is what she'll never know Everyday another mountain, another mountain to climb to get to your... (chorus) And the world could be perfect Even if we are not If everything is forgiven Even if not forgot And when the morning comes breaking And I call out your name My heart will be running, oh running to get to your (chorus, and repeat)
  7. By the way, the song is called "Loving Arms"
  8. Left her this morning and most of last night I've been taking tally on the last years of my life. I've been pretty righteous, but God only knows A couple of calls were not even close But at least my own discresion is sweeter than most Ah those loving arms..... Those sweet, sweet, loving arms I count the "bird count the girl (sorry, I don't know what he's saying here)" I used to stumble back when I was younger And I'm still stumbling now it's a lot more fun And I'm falling, I'm falling Feel to close to the sun To get to your loving arms, your loving arms Your loving arms your sweet, sweet, loving arms To get to your chorus: loving arms, your loving arms Your loving arms your sweet, sweet, loving arms verse2 Empty pockets, motel beds Airline tickets worth better left unsaid Strange kisses (I don't know the next few words) What I'm missing were sure now known Everyday another mountain Another mountain to climb To get to your (chorus) Bridge: And the world could be perfect Even if we are not If everything is forgiven Even if not forgot And when the morning comes a breakin' And I call out your name My heart will be running Oh running to get to your (chorus and repeat) Artist: Darden Smith Album: Little Victories Year: 1993 I was searching for the same exact song for over a year and decided to look it up this past Tuesday on the computer @ Borders, and came across Darden Smith, so I went to iTunes to purchase the song, and yep, it was it! I hope this helps you a lot. -Jenai
