  4. Power Rangers...the ORIGINAL! Crappy effects and terrible acting...i loved it. Fraggle Rock could be added with Mr. Rogers. I used to make my mom record the old Goosebumps shows!
  5. {From Tuftsdaily.com} We should feel bad for Britney Spears. Of course, we've gotten callous after hour upon desensitizing hour of "Best Week Ever" and "Entertainment Tonight." Britney's had a rough couple months - finally figuring out Federline was useless, taking care of two kids alone, and apparently struggling with some sort of substance abuse. After checking out of her one-minute rehab stint last week, Britney then proceeded to get a tattoo and shave her head. Since then, she's donned a wig, re-entered rehab and faced speculation that it was an act of rebellion against her mom. Once you get all the Leno jokes out of the way, it's a sad story, the last act of a desperate pop diva. In the interest of commiseration, we've compiled a list to lift Spears' spirit; here are the top ten female celebrities who have embraced baldness. 10) Natalie Portman in "V for Vendetta" (2006) - When Natalie Portman shaved her head for the filming of "V for Vendetta," there was little negative feedback from the media because she still looked absolutely gorgeous. Besides giving her a break from the ridiculous hairstyles of Princess Amidala, it also showed her dedication to acting and allowed her to make headway in her longstanding career. 9) Mrs. Garrison in "South Park" - One of the only women known to suffer from male-pattern baldness, Mrs. Garrison can probably blame her condition on being born as a man. After undergoing a sex change immediately prior to South Park's ninth season, Mrs. Garrison (who is unmarried) is in all appearances feminine, except for her receding hairline. Rather than sulk in the misery of her hair loss, however, Mrs. Garrison embraces her (newfound) femininity. 8) Demi Moore in "G.I. Jane" (1997) - In the fight for gender equality, there are some sacrifices a woman just has to make. Hair, for example. In 1997's "G.I. Jane," Demi Moore traded her normally long tresses for a shaved head. As the only female in the elite Navy Seals training program, Moore is expected to drop out within weeks, but (surprise, surprise) she succeeds in becoming a soldier. Her head, bald as the American eagle, surely was the secret to her success. 7) Skin of Skunk Anansie - For some celebrities, shaving your head could be a disastrous career move, but for Deborah Dyer (aka Skin), the female vocalist of the Britrock group Skunk Anansie, it helped create her own unique image. Still, the band does not owe their success entirely to their frontwoman's lack of hair, since they managed to sell over 4 million copies of their albums worldwide (apparently they're big in Europe). 6) Sigourney Weaver in "Alien" (1979) - When a woman has to take on aliens all day, who has time to take care of her hair? 5) Hillary Swank in "Boys Don't Cry" (1999) - Is it Brandon Teena or Teena Brandon? Only one thing is certain, the transvestite issues raised in the film would be slightly lost if Hillary had kept her billowing locks instead of chopping them off to play her gender-switching character. The almost-bald look, however, definitely brought out her striking features, whether male or female. 4) Christine Taylor in "Friends" - This wench tried to break up Ross and Rachel. It seems only appropriate that she would lose her hair in the end. 3) Samantha Morton in "Minority Report" (2002) - Few know that the bald Oracle in this Tom Cruise sci-fi flick was based on Scientology teachings. Okay, that's not true - but don't act like it wasn't believable. 2) Robin Tunney in "Empire Records" (1995) - America shall never forget the passionate days of early '90s music culture that influenced the young group of teens running a record store to pursue life, love and crazy sex. At the peak of the excitement, of course, stands Robin Tunney as the misunderstood Debra who shaves her head within the first 20 minutes of the film. It was so daring. It was so mid-'90s. It was so ... (in the words of castmate Renee Zellwegger) "Sinead O'Rebellion!" 1) Sinead O'Connor - This Irish pope-hater may have struck it big with her Prince-penned hit "Nothing Compares 2 U," but it will be for her lack of hairstyle that she'll be remembered. Long after the world has forgotten the incomparable pop hit and the "SNL" snafu, they'll remember that she was bald. Then again, there are worse ways to be remembered. -I was thinkin about it earler...so many girls can pull off this look! The best ive seen is definitely Natalie Portman in V for Vendetta.
