I am a fanatical Stones fan, but apparently, not enough! I have never heard this song. Its on the Lexmark Printer commercials, and it goes like this: So complicated.... Its for the C Coupe, and was played on TV maybe two years ago. It goes like this, with a very peppy, up beat tempo: "All I wanna do it to thank to you, while I was driving in my car. You let me change lanes..." and so on. I don't know who did it, and its a cute song. Btw, does anyone know how Charlie Watts is doing? I heard the unfortunent news of his cancer.

wow, that Jim Gordon story is freaky. Poor Pattie, George professed his love for Maureen Starkey, Ringo's wife, infront of Patti, and Eric showed up at her doorstep with a bag of heroin, threatning to take it if she didn't leave with him. She did end up with him, but he cheated on her repeatedly, fathering a daughter, Ruth, with another woman behind Patti's back, knowing Patti could not have children. She did divorce him as well. I bet she's living well off of the alimony, however.

Was she seeing Bob Geldof? I don't know why he'd want to see her after how she treated him. While he was on tour, and doing charity work, she was cheating on him. They were married and had two or three daughters, then she got with Michael and had their daughter as well.

Also, the cover of Roxy Music's "Siren" features one-time girlfriend of Bryan Ferry and Mick Jagger's ex, Jerry Hall, who in that pic looks like a man in drag. I'm sorry, but the woman can look beautiful one minute and manly the next. She seems like a nice woman though.

I actually do like The Hives. I would only call their sound punk rock influenced. Punk is dead, has been since 79'. It was just a scene that happened in a certain place during a certain time, and won't ever happen again. Is anyone else repulsed by Ashley Simpson wearing a shirt that says "Punk" in glittery pink?

It all depends on the mood I'm in, since the Syd stuff tends to be on the psychedelic side, and sometimes I'm not in the mood for it. I don't prefer the post-Waters era however. The Floyd double CD that came out in 2000(??), the compilation, got me through my first year in college, the first time I lived away from home. I'd lay in my bed in that god-awful shoebox of a dorm room with that CD playing on my discman, and that would help me sleep and generally lift my spirits.

I've seen it on VH1 a few times, and heard it on the radio. Its a band, a male singer. The chorus includes: "Its a struggle..." and he also says "We're gonna take your mama out on the town" and then says something about cheap champagne. Its a cute song, and it just came out. Thanks! ::

Some Doors songs are a bit hard to interpret, as Jim tended to get a bit carried away with nonsense in his poetry and lyrics, probably from all the drugs and booze, and I think he was a bit strange naturally, hehe. They were a great band.
