  1. Yeah, I like Weezer. A couple of years ago I went to see a Deftones concert at the Rialto Theatre when they came to Tucson and they did a cover of "Say It Aint So"...it was pretty cool, almost as good as the original.
  2. I have a small canister of ashes from when Mt. St. Helens blew in 1980. My dad, mom and me (I was barely even a year old) were less than 100 miles away when it errupted. I don't remember (of course) but my parents tell me it was rather freaky! They said it looked like snow coming down and then all of a sudden, they could not even see 3 inches in front of their face. My dad opened the door to his van with an empty film canister and swooped it and when he brought it back it was FULL of ashes...my mom stuck me in her shirt so I could breath better. Anyway, I think it's neat! I would like to be able to witness it and remember it next time...if there IS a next time....
  3. My name is Tara. People are always and forever pronouncing it as "Terra" ...which is not correct. Say it with me Tar...a Tara...that's me! ::

    Bad Movies

I SO agree Jenny! I couldn't understand why she was always talking like that when she was in her "Queen" or "Senetor" outfit, but then completely normal when she was dressed as Padame. It was super annoying!!!
  5. Sara, if you can believe it...he is actually really hot!! I'm serious, I saw an interview with him (can't remember on who's show) but yeah....He is sexy.
  6. Well thank you...I will have to be honest and say that at this moment in time I DO NOT look as I did in that picture of me! ....I look more like this
  7. WOW!! What a nice way to wake up. :: Good mornig to you as well JR. * I think I may be blushing *
  8. So I'm guessing there is a "hidden" meaning to the name of this movie...i.e. Up sh%$ creek.... without a paddle ...get it??? They just left out the first part... I just woke up so, I'm a little...ya know....
  9. My Dad is a musician. He has been in a band since I was born (I even traveled with the band until I was 3 years old)and he has always played "oldies". So I grew up listening to: The Beatles, The Zombies, The Hollies, CCR, Led Zep, Beach Boys, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Everly Brothers, and some other bands that I know songs from but don't know half of the names . I still listen to all of this music though. So...He taught me well. ::
  10. ..."always and forever..."
  11. **In my Ralph voice from the Simpsons** I'm scared....

    Open Waters

I don't know...I think it won't be able to help but have sharks but that's not the only terror for this movie. What's more terrifying to me (besides the sharks) is imagining coming up from scuba diving and the boat being gone and find that you are now stranded in the middle of the ocean....YIKES!

    TICKLE

Hey, this band TICKLE is awesome! They are not just based in Tucson either...they travel around too! They have opened for some pretty big bands. They do covers as well as their original music. Check out their website: www.ticklethis.com
  14. Welcome Riotboy!! I am going to take a WILD guess and say that you are "Strait Edge"...am I right??? ::
  15. Yeah...I noticed... you're so silly!!! ::
  16. Yes, but they were "new" because he went back to that moment and slammed his hands down on the spikes. Even when the other stuff changed it was "new" to him...but NOT "new" because the past was changed. That's why the scars appeared after he did that because he just changed the past again...so the scars were part of the "new" future... It's okay buddy.....I understand....I know what you are saying...you know what I am saying....I guess we should just stop it already.
  17. I just think it's funny that you actually type this out EVERY time you mention him!
  18. Okay, Scottie, BUT....He ended up having them though. When they appeared on his hands, they were scars...not wounds (how the hell do you spell that anyway?? it should be woonds... ) So...in actuality, when timelining that would be correct...because the scars appeared as if they had been there since he was 7....right???
  19. No, Scott sweetie, let me explain the part you are speaking of: It hadn't happened at all...UNTIL Ashton went back and did it to prove his point to his inmate. So going INTO jail he wouldn't have had the scars...because he didn't actually DO that yet...until he went back....get it??? ::
  20. Hey Muzik, you are the first " Sea Anemone" I've seen so far in the forum...way cool! Oh, I have to agree, my sister and I got into some healthy banter after the movie was over drilling each other on what I liked about it and what she didn't. But I will say that after I gave her a little different perspective about certain things and what they could mean, she lightened up. :: I think I will buy the movie today.
  21. I just rented that last weekend and I found it to be a fantastic movie!! My younger sister didn't agree (she said it was stupid) but maybe she wasn't looking quite deep enough into the movie....But, like others have said, I won't go into detail because I don't want to ruin it for anyone. But...ummm...yeah...go see the movie if you haven't already.
  22. Okay, I just thought of another! That "I never meant to give you mushrooms girl..." (I don't know the name of the song) by Eminem...it's really funny though!
  23. Hey, yeah a good DON'T DO DRUGS song is Salvation by the Cranberries.
