  1. Jimi Hendrix - Band of Gypsys is my favorite.
  2. Well there you go gillian, just follow that great interpretation.
  3. Is it the one where he is standing in front of the lockers? I still wouldn't know which song it is though.

  5. Sounds cool. Im gonna have to buy that one.
  6. That was quite possibly the most uneducated list i've ever read.
  7. This is off subject, but aren't these lyrics almost the same as 'If 6 was 9'? If the sun refused to shine, I don't mind, I don't mind, If the mountains fell in the sea, let it be, it ain't me. Just like 'Dazed and confused' by Zeppelin
  8. Here's some of my favorite that havent been mentioned yet, I hope. Achilles last stand Tangerine Trampled Underfoot Ten years gone Nobody's fault but mine All of my love In the evening Black Dog Over the hills and far away Going to California Since I've been loving you Dazed and confused Babe Im gonna leave you Rock and Roll Communication breakdown
  9. I voted Malmsteen. One of the fastest players out there. He also has some great classical acoustic stuff too. :guitar: Edit: Eric Johnson is another great underrated player. :guitar:
  10. They are a great band. Im listening to them right now.
  11. You've probably heard it but, another great SRV instrumental is his cover of Hendrix's "Little Wing". Its not near as mellow, but it sounds a little sad. This one's not an instumental, but you might also consider "Blue Jean Blues" by ZZTop. :guitar:
  12. A radio host was saying how when heard "I wanna rock and roll all night, and party every day." He thought they were saying "... and part of every day." I could see a lot of people getting that one purple haze line mixed up. It's really "scuse me while I kiss the sky." But could easily be heard as "scuse me while I piss the sky." or "scuse me while I kiss this guy."
  13. Dave Grohl, the foo fighters would count right?
  14. Mine are Led Zeppelin - "When the levee breaks" and Lynyrd Skynyrd - "I ain't the one"
  15. Master of Puppets is my favorite.
  16. One of my favorite intros is "I ain't the one" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. The drum part is cool.
  17. I've only heard "How far is heaven", but it sounded really good. To me, they sound like a mix between SRV and the Allman Brothers.
  18. Some that came to mind for me were Enter Sandman - Metallica N.I.B. - Black Sabbath Gimme Back My Bullets - Lynyrd Skynyrd Foreplay / Long Time - Boston Blackend - Metallica Whipping Post - Allman Brothers Yellow Ledbetter - Pearl Jam
  19. My favorite two of his are Jaws and Saving Private Ryan.
