Yesterday I attempt the Spring Rockfest in Beirut...it was a great show with 4 great Lebanese bands: The Mockers(Classic Rock) Linger(Unplugged covers) Route66(80's metal) Jawad Hackem(guitarist like Steve Vai...) Armory(Heavy Metal) It was a great concert Mockers played great originals but I didn't like much teir new vocalist. Linger had to play unplugged cuz their guitarist(my teacher ) is serving in the army and they played covers,they were great. Route 66 rocked the theatre but I'm starting to get bored from their playlist. Jawad Hachem..he's so fasttt and plays with great feelings and he's young. Armory they ended the concert by burning the place cuz they played excellent and very loud and they're clothes..wow leather stuff...great performance. Hope you can all share someday my joy in watching lebanese bands. :guitar:

In my opinion lebanese bands are better live then any other bands around the world. This is due to many reasons and here are some: Lebanese bands start playing weekly in pubs Lebanese fans are very critical so only great bands survive Lebanese rock scene isn't very profitable so they keep on playing their ass out to get a couple of dollars Only very few get record deals and that's too bad cuz the world is missing great music scene.

What really makes me love them is that they always sound better live then in studios...They're always running jumping ...crazy and very energetic show. If you can get the Savage Crazy World DVD..there's a concert from Crazy World tour+lots of video clips you'll know what I'm talking about :guitar:
