  1. Levis, no, "Pretty Woman" doesn't count. It does not have a clear backbeat at the beginning (snare hits on "2" and "4"); the snare is hitting on all four beats of each measure until the vocals come in.
  2. You can also find the same thing in The Cars' "Just What I Needed", at the beginning right when the vocals come in.
  3. Ok...thanks. Maybe someone else can go. I'm too stupid for all of this.
  4. How in the hell do I post an image? Please.
  5. From left, it looks like John Bobbitt, John Taylor, some random dude and John Mayer.
  6. No, it might take a little deeper research. Good guess, though. Clue - it involves a fourth musician.
  7. OK, sorry for the delay. Paul Revere & The Raiders Eric Carmen Sting Have at it.
  8. Correct, Sammy. What a great song and album... Bazooka, consider my nutsack in high gear.
  9. No, the machine head is actually the little gear that connects to the tuner. But it does reside on the headstock, if that makes you feel any better.
  10. It's either Ritchie Blackmore or Yngwie Malmsteen. "Headstock", Edna.
  11. Wow, was that actually the right answer? OK, searching for title, musician and song subject: This artist (visual) was further immortalized in a song by a rock legend; said legend instructs the recording engineer on the proper pronunciation of the artist's name just before the song starts. 1970's.
  12. Whoa, whoa, whoa. How often do you get the chance to use the word "nutsack" in your daily life? I am, actually, pretty vulgar; I also hate euphemisms more than most things. At least I didn't use the phrase "Donkey Punch".
  13. Finally I remembered... The Traveling Wilburys Which member was Johnny Cash's neighbor until his house burned down?
  14. Probably so, Peaches. I remember a few years back Julian had to practically beg for money from Yoko. She graciously gave him 5 million. You know, 5 million to his mostly abandoned first and most talented child. 5 million out of upwards of a billion dollar estate. She probably had to put some lyrics on a placemat to get that back. So I'm guessing Cynthia didn't get a whole lot.
  15. Yeah, I got nothing right now...
  16. Steve Miller. Yes, "King Lear" is correct, Laurie.
  17. You know what? It was a full-page ad, not a letter. That might help your googling. This one's probably too easy, but my brain is sleepy. What can be heard at the end of "I Am The Walrus"? It's a recording of something.
  18. "The Twist" - Chubby Checker You ever read that letter he sent to Billboard about the Hall Of Fame? Holy crap is it funny.
  19. I think it was maybe The Beach Boys, but I have no idea who said it.
  20. Buddy Guy. Edna, I'm guessing Jerry Garcia?
  21. I believe he actually called it "Bicycle Concerto". Seriously.
  22. They're all spelled wrong. Does that count?
  23. Close enough. Frank Zappa, on Steve Allen, playing a bicycle. With the candlestick.
