  1. I've only seen 2 of the nominated movies, The Imitation Game and The Grand Budapest Hotel. I would like to see Interstellar and The Theory Of Everything. Most of my predictions are uneducated guesses since I haven't seen too many nominated movies or performances.

  7. I'm with you Jenny. Most of the kids in our neighbourhood go to different schools all over the city. They don' t know one another and even if they did, they certainly wouldn' t play outside even if their patents would let them. One of the downsides of living in a big city is that there are enough weirdos about, that parents are reluctant to let their little ones outside unsupervised. Heck, when I was little (somwhere in the dim and distant past) , my Mum would let me go outside in the morning to play and just told me to be home in time for dinner. Mind you, we lived in a town of about 35,000 people.

  11. The Grand Budapest Hotel 8/10 A quirky comedy that features an exceptional performance by Ralph Fiennes as Monsieur Gustave the concierge at a luxurious hotel in a fictitious central European country between the two world wars. The story is told from the perspective of Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes the protege and trusted confidante of Monsieur Gustave. The poetry quoting M. Gustave and Zero become embroiled in a bitter battle for a family fortune and the theft of a valuable Renaissance painting. The humour is very droll and the acting is first rate. All in all, a good way to spend 2 hours.
  12. Reuben James - Kenny Rogers What Shall We Do Now? - Pink Floyd
