Here's a song I'm trying to figure out. Sounds like it's about someone who's left her neighborhood, perhaps the not so brightside of town and joined the high class society and either her friends or family obviously miss her and maybe has chosen to leave them behind. Any thoughts?

While I'm not into too mcuh modern day music, Colbie is one who I enjoy. Learned about this song not long ago and it's quite interesting because it's probably from her perspective being a California girl where snow is rae unless you live in the mountains.

This song was recorded in 1965 when they were under the name "The Golliwogs", 3 years before they became CCR.
