  1. Look I've tried to correct both links several times and nothing works so like I said before just type it up as is with a Capital I or lowercase l between the G and q and see if you come up with it.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDRG9qkGUxl Here it is again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDRGqkGUzl I don't know what's going on here, can't seem to correct the links but the last letter is an l and there's a 9 in between the G and q.
  3. Summer In The City-Lovin Spoonful Summertime-Billy Stewart's version. Or this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLs09J_x6-c
  4. What do you think about the message in this song? Think it's still relevant today? I don't know what's going on I've been having trouble getting to link to work. If you know the song then say how you feel about it. I've given up working on it.
  5. There's actually 2 versions of the extended version. This one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw1IiX__D90 and this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLWJebZtGtg I looked at the info here and Song Facts and doesn't say anything about the 2 versions but it's said that this 2nd version is the actual long one and the top one was the actual single release with someone editing it to make it sound long.
  6. Funny thing both S&G grew up in NYC. Not exactly a small town.
  7. In the section for him you have the wrong version of Early Morning Rain. This is the original http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnV8Q4Tc5nM
  8. Not really a religious person though don't consider myself an atheist either. I've heard for years how many religious people are against R&R and other forms of secular music. In some ways I can understand some concerns. Here's a film on the topic.
  9. It's a relatively new song but just thought I'd ask how do you interpret the song?
  10. Thought I'd revive this for those who might have not seen it the first time.
  11. This song is not listed in the band's section. Can anyone define it?
  12. You gotta wonder why some people do things to end a relationship. She says she was scared and regardless how she claims it's all her fault, maybe he should of backed off as well and moved on. Not the first time such a song has been written, BTW Arden's a great singer so do check her out.
  13. Tribute song to Marvin Gaye recorded months after his death. Terribly sad song.
  14. Here's a song by him which is not listed here.
  15. There's no mention of the song on this site so I thought I'd type it up here. Sounds like it's somebody either staying if not living in some abandoned hotel.
  16. Makes me wonder why these famous people marry and bring children into the world? Most people like John because of their work can't be like most parents because of their work.
  17. Some of you might of seen her on American Idol. I Unfortunately missed most of her appearances and she was voted off but being familiar with her prior to AI I've watched quite a bit of her stuff and think she's great.
  18. Don't know if it sounds like it but I read somewhere that this song was written about the sister's father who died in 1979. If you know the history of them their parents were ministers of a church in their native Oakland and despised secular music and the only time the sisters got to hear any was outside their home. You kind of wonder what their dad's relationship was with his daughters in the last years of his life?
  19. I looked over there section and the song is not mentioned. Can't seem to figure the meaning behind it.
  20. The point of this song seems to be that that gold is not everything or something like that. But you gotta wonder why they chose the state on California for?
  21. The group I'm guessing is one of those obscure bands that never made it big, but I'm wondering what they mean by this will be my last day?
