  2. Never mind I just read through the 1st Golden Oldies post and read the rules!
  3. Being that I'm the "new guy" here, I was just wondering on the rules in voting. What songs are eligible? Post 1950 or post Elvis (1956)? I enjoy everything from Les Paul & Mary Ford, Four Aces and Eddie Fisher of the early 50's to Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley and Brook Benton of the late 50's. I was just wondering where the starting point was. I collect music and charts so I know what was popular and when. If in doubt go to Google Books and type in either an artist/song or even something like "1953 Billboard" (or any other year/month combination with the word Billboard) and you can skim through back issues of Billboard Magazine. Thanks
