  1. Probably something off of Fleetwood Mac's "Tango in the Night" album. My parents have it and I listened to it a zillion times when I was little and I have it on my iPod.
  2. Well in my defense, I was trying to listen to it on the radio in a store.
  3. Sorry for the double post but the song I was thinking of was "He's a Rebel" by the Crystals. Clearly I got some of my facts mixed up.
  4. Sorry but that is not it. I remember some more things: * I remember one part (possibly before the chorus) went something like: Background singers: Because, because, because Main singer: Because everybody knows why and that's the reason why *something*
  5. I heard some song for the first time in a long time on the radio at the store the other day. This is all I remember: * It was something from the late '50's or early '60's * A man with a really high voice was singing * The chorus went something like "She's my girl" I thank you ahead of time for any help.
  6. I agree there are zillions of artists. Now that I think about it, the song didn't sound like it was from the '50's or early '60's. I am guessing that it is from the later '60's or '70's. I remember hearing it on an oldies station that my mom used to listen to 10 or 15 years ago. Its possible that it could have been by some one hit wonder. EDIT: I was looking at a lot of songs. I think I found it! It's "You Don't Own Me" by Lesley Gore
  7. I do seem to recall the lines "You see little girl, I don't want you around here no more/ I don't want to see you face around my door" from the first song. Also the first song was upbeat and there was a mini guitar (?) solo between each stanza. EDIT: The name of the first song is "little Girl" by Syndicate of Sound. Can some one give me a list of female artists that I can look up and hopefully find the second song.
  8. Hi, I'm new here and I am not sure if this is the right place. I am trying to find the names of two different songs both from the '60's (possibly late 50 or early 70's). It has been so long since I have heard either one so I don't know much of the lyrics. Song #1 * A man was singing * The words were spoken rather than sang and each line rhymed with the next. * I also remember the line "it's all over for me *laughs*" Song #2 * A woman was singing * I think the song was about her being a grown up now * I am pretty sure the song started off quiet and got louder as it went on, so at the end she was belting out the lyrics. Sorry for the vagueness
