  1. The reasons why "Love Is Like Oxygen" doesn't bother me when people find the confusion is because of the structure, sound, and production. It has Jeff Lynne stamped all over it and whether or not 'Sweet' was truly inspired, that I do not know. I've read that people have confused America's "Horse with No Name" with Neil Young. And lets not forget Canadian rockers (or pop rockers) 'Klaatu' who many (and I mean many) claimed a facade for the Beatles.
  2. I just can't exactly recall where I've read that info. Probably in one of my books at home but still not sure. I remember reading it though because not only is it one of my favourite AC tracks but now I find that part very creepy. Anyway, that pic looks like ET gripping a squished football.
  3. "Flowers and Beads" by Iron Butterfly "Jerry Was a Race Car Driver" by Primus and one for good measure (although not a song itself) -> Stu Hamm's Bass Solo following Joe Satriani's "Love Thing" - Just beautiful...
  4. I also meant to say "You're Welcome." Well, you're welcome.
  5. Since this is the month of October... Tune: "Years Ago" Artist: Alice Cooper Album: Welcome to My Nightmare Known Fact: During the middle break, the creepy background talk and such is an actual recording from an old exorcism.
  6. Gotcha I forget who but a whoever posted Gary Moore's "Still Got the Blues."
  7. This, as in this particular subject. I've noticed other threads posting vids but don't seen any exceptions. Is there a theme or something? Too many pages to go back on.

  9. Say, I went back quite a few pages but still no hint of this subject.
  10. That also reminded me of Everlast's "What It's Like." Explicit words and phrases so you'll have to look it up.
  11. I was just reading the reviews for The Screaming Woman - User reviews and some of them are read just like my experiences. I don't recall having nightmares but can certainly say that at that time, it would of been the scariest film I've ever seen. It's probably lame now but sure wasn't back in the early to mid-seventies.
  12. I think I know what film you're talking about -> The Other (1972) I've only seen it once on TV (probably around '74) and barely recall anything other than it starred John Ritter (Jack Tripper, Three's Company) and a pitchfork in the barn scene. And speaking of TV, there was this made for tv movie that scared the frickin' poop out of me. They must of aired this film 3 or 4 times in a couple of years (in Canada anyway) and really, really, really freaked me out. --> The Screaming Woman The synopsis: A wealthy former mental patient goes home to her estate to rest and recuperate. While walking the grounds one day she hears the screams of a woman coming from underneath the ground who has been buried alive. Her family, however, refuses to believe her story, and sees the incident as an opportunity to prove the woman's mind has snapped so they can take control of her money.
  13. Like certain books, some films leave such an impression that (it) could take days before I'm ready to move on with next film. In my case, its been a while for a film until I watched "The Wrestler" the other day. I'm still thinking of the film. If I were to say anything about the film, it would probably be a spoiler no matter the description. However, I will say that its predictable if you've seen/read the type and the storyline/plot is unoriginal but (film) presentation is spot on. To compare, "The Wrestler" leaves more of a sense of realism.

  16. Not trying to disparage your choice of wording but perhaps its more of "Gosh, I'm fortunate not to experience the life of the homeless" as oppose to being a fear. I too have thought often about the homeless and how could I manage if ever put/forced into that position. My heart breaks seeing the poor and I often question (and/or maybe confuse) myself that perhaps its of their own choosing, or matters that couldn't be controlled. On second thought, maybe 'fear' was a good choice to use. Sorry.
  17. 1) The Changeling (1980) - the George C. Scott film. A really creepy film. 2) The Legend of Hell House (1973) - another that creeped me out over the years. Fans of "The Haunting" would enjoy it. Trailer
  18. Pretty diminutive hint. How about another?
  19. I wonder if anyone else has the same sense of humour...
  20. I guess I should mention clowns. Its not a phobia or anything but they're just too darn creepy. Long before films like 'It' and 'House of 1000 Corpses', they were creepy. I also think some of those ventriloquist dummies could be creepy as well.
  21. Someone mentioned "Problem Child?" You may not even recognize Eric Edwards (who played Murph) since he lost a lot of weight.
