  4. Excellent song from an excellent album, good choice. Their sound has nicely evolved from the noisy post-punk of their first few mid-90's albums into a beautiful, intricate and more emotional one particulary on their past three releases (also personal favourites): Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons, Misery Is a Butterfly and of course 23.

  9. Surely not, without the prospect of free casualwear... But yeah same here.
  10. Finally, I knew Google would come through. He's mostly big in Canada, a friend of mine sent me some of his stuff. Excellent revamped traditional rock: catchy, melodic and straightforward. He's quite a talented singer/songwriter and - ahem - not bad too look at either.
  11. One of the first that came to mind: "Do You Realize" - The Flaming Lips "Do You Realize - that you have the most beautiful face do you realize - we're floating in space - do you realize - that happiness makes you cry do you realize - that everyone you know someday will die And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know You realize that life goes fast It's hard to make the good things last You realize the sun doesn't go down It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round"
  12. Forget the shirt I think we all know ourselves enough to admit were in it for the glory of having our musical taste reign supreme and the subsequent bragging rights.
  13. ^A true Oasis fan sentiment. We love them despite their shortcomings. "B****y Cape" - Deftones
  14. Not a bad ten, IMO. But I still think there are many great bands with great songs that haven't made it in yet.
  15. I was a little surprised that some people voted for it at all.
  16. "Questions 67 and 68" - Chicago
  17. Nope... Win Butler plays more indie than traditional rock. And no for the second. My pics first EP became the best-selling independant release in Canadian history.
